Stanley Leisure is a British casino firm.^[1]

The company was founded in the 1950s as a bookmakers in Belfast. It was originally run by Leonard Steinberg, Baron Steinberg.^[1] In 1977, Steinberg moved the business to Liverpool after an attempted assassination by the Provisional IRA over protection money.^[2]

In 2004, he sold half of his shares to the Malaysian company Genting.^[1]

Their casinos are split into two brands, Genting Clubs and Genting Casinos, largely along the lines of age. The Clubs are generally the newer sites with the all-singing all-dancing units with poker, restaurant and more recently.
• Genting Casinos are the biggest casino operator in the United Kingdom, with 45 casinos They own Maxims Casinos, Circus Casinos, Mint Casinos, as well as Crockfords, The Colony Club and the Palm Beach Casino, all in London. There is also one casino still operating under the old Stanley name, which is in Plymouth.
